The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in emergency and demanding situations. You must be able to multi-task well while working under pressure, in the fast-paced office environment. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by insuring the accurate and timely transmission of information. Flexibility is a key component in the success of this role within our company.

Responsibilities:

  • Corporate Compliance
  • Customer Service Issue Resolution
  • Business Development
  • Receive emergency and non-emergency requests for ambulance service
  • Transmitting orders to suitable response units
  • Coordinates response & recovery for recalcitrant situations
  • Scheduling & quality control
  • Resource Management
  • Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
  • Use radio, phone or computer to send crews, vehicles or other field units to appropriate locations
  • Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
  • Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements

Requirements:

  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to easily navigate databases
  • Ability to type at least 40 wpm.
