National Ambulance is a growing, family-owned, medical transportation provider. We provide emergency and non-emergency ambulance service, as well as wheelchair van services, and education opportunities. Our main focus is to provide exceptional customer service in all aspects of patient care.
We are currently seeking a highly motivated Operations Manager to manage our daily operations. Flexibility is a key component in the success of this role within our company.

The ideal candidate must be an excellent communicator and able to remain calm and composed, especially in emergency and demanding situations. You must be able to multi-task well while working under pressure, in the fast-paced office environment. The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.

Responsibilities:

Corporate Compliance
Customer Service Issue Resolution
Business Development
Receive emergency and non-emergency requests for ambulance service
Transmitting orders to suitable response units
Coordinates response & recovery for recalcitrant situations
Scheduling & quality control
Resource Management
Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance
Use radio, phone or computer to send crews, vehicles or other field units to appropriate locations
Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule
Provide field units with information about orders, traffic, obstacles and requirements


Requirements:

Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Word and Excel and ability to easily navigate databases
Ability to type at least 40 wpm.
Strong attention to details
Reliable transportation
A positive attitude and willingness for continual learning
Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities
Active listener with excellent communication skills
Sound judgment and critical thinking
Problem solving and relationship building skills are essential to the success of this role.
2 or more years of supervisory / management experience is desirable
